EVENTS and INFORMATION

For updates to the calendar of events please check the church’s website for specific dates and times.

Worship Services – every Sunday throughout the year beginning at 10:00 AM in the Sanctuary.

Fellowship – The deacons arrange for a time of coffee and snacks that are served following every worship service. You can help with the snacks by signing up on the bulletin board in Cookman Hall. Special themed times of fellowship are usually scheduled once a month, details are generally provided in the weekly bulletin.

Bible Study – This is offered most Tuesday mornings at 10:00 AM. This is open to all as it is study and discussion about how the biblical stories relate to life today. Our discussions are lively and we respect each other for what differences we may hold in the interpretation of the scripture being studied.

Church Meetings – As we are of the congregational tradition our church is governed by the membership and the representatives elected from the church body. Each group is responsible for conducting their meetings to provide leadership and guidance to the church. The groups that have regular meetings are The Board of Christian Education, The Board of Deacons, The Church Council, Pastoral Relations Committee, and the Camp Wellville Board of Directors. Please see the calendar for details of the next planned meeting for each board.

What’s New

April 23rd – Formal signing of an agreement with Fitchburg State University and others that will be using our facilities. The signing will happen at 1:00 PM with representatives from the City, the University, other occupants, and the Church. All are welcome to join in this celebration. Light refreshments will be served.

April 24th – The Senior Organ Recital for Gavin Klein at All Saint’s Episcopal Church, 10 Irving Street, Worcester beginning at 7:00 PM. All are welcome to attend.
